The commitment of the International Relations Office at ETSII is to promote interchange of Students and Staff with the leading academic Engineering Institutions all over the world. Internationalization is one of the strategic principles of the ETSII, within a labor market context, where Engineers are professionals susceptible to develop their careers globally.

International experience is considered a valued skill from the part of employers, and the ETSII provides different possibilities to acquire it, with the numerous partners, and a 30 years old interchange expertise. Nowadays close to 50% of ETSII last year students, develop part of their studies out of Spain.

FH JOANNEUM Graz, Austria International Staff Week, 4.-8. May 2020

International Staff Week at FH JOANNEUM, Austria which will take place from 4.-8. May 2020.

During this week you will not only get to know FH JOANNEUM in Graz but also our campus in Bad Gleichenberg. We will put together a diverse program of presentations, group discussions and cultural activities for you. You will be expected to present your home institution at our International Fair, where you will also have the chance to meet our students and staff.

The topics which we would like to discuss with you during the week will be the following (you can only choose one):

1. „Inclusion“ – how to ensure equal and equitable access to current and prospective participants from all backgrounds.

2. „Safety“ – how to ensure and promote the safety of outgoing and incoming mobile participants.

3. „International research projects“ - how to successfully carry out international mobility and research projects.

4. Track for librarians: „Teaching Library and Information Literacy” “Open Access and Publication Services”

Topics 1 and 2 will also play an important role in the next Erasmus Charta 2021.

Our staff week is directed at staff of international relations offices as well as staff from other parts of your institution (Diversity, Student Administration, PR & Marketing, Facility Management, Human Relations, Quality Development, R&D, Library,… ) working with one of the topics above. The international staff week is a good chance for colleagues who would like to visit us in the frame of an Erasmus+ Staff Exchange. Colleagues from our non-European partner universities are also very welcome as well as our International Credit Mobility partners.

Please do not book flights or hotels until you have received an acceptance mail from us. A participation fee of € 120,- will be charged. The organized social program and lunches are free. We recommend colleagues from Erasmus+ partner universities (KA 103) to apply for an
Erasmus grant in the International office of their home institution.
